Students in each classroom participate in a Penny Drive that is held from early fall until late spring of each school year.  Money collected from this drive directly benefits the students by purchasing items such as playground equipment, books, etc.  The Committee is responsible for placing collection containers in all classrooms, emptying containers on a monthly basis, and taking pennies to the bank for counting.  Attention should be given to establishing class incentives/prizes for maximum student participation throughout the year.  The committee, along with PTF Leadership Team, will determine items to be purchased for the students.
